Is Teeth Whitening Safe?

Our Teeth Whitening Kit is one of the safest teeth whitening procedures.

It does NOT harm your teeth in any way, as long as you follow the

step by step instruction, after care instructions included in each kit.

How Does Teeth Whitening work?

Teeth Whitening is effective by exfoliating stains from tooth enamel. 

Stains discolor teeth from foods and beverages that we consume.

What are the possible side effects of Teeth Whitening?

One of the most common side effects from teeth whitening is increased tooth sensitivity.  Everyone differs as to how sensitive their teeth get.  It’s normal to have increased tooth sensitivity for 2-4 days after teeth whitening.

How long will my teeth whitening results last?

The longevity of teeth whitening mostly depends on your consumption of foods, beverages and smoking.  How often you brush your teeth also plays a role. For an example, if you drink coffee and red wine, the results from teeth whitening are likely to get stained in a few months.  We recommend to drink coffee through a straw and try to rinse or brush after drinking heavy staining beverages to maintain your results.  Most clients return to us once a year for teeth whitening treatment. We recommend a touch up every 6 months to maintain whiteness from smoking stains. 

How long does it take until I see results?

Teeth whitening results are instantaneous.  After, completion of one whitening session you are guaranteed 3-5 shades brighter.

​My Teeth Have white spots. What results should I expect?

Many patients have white spots on their teeth.  Teeth Whitening removes stains from your teeth which will also make the white spots appear brighter.  While we cannot predict your results. If you start noticing the white spots getting too bright, you can stop the treatment. 

​Will my dental work get whiter?

​Teeth Whitening only works on tooth enamel.  Dental work such as bonding, crowns, and veneers will not change color.
